• Maintenance:

1. If the brake drum is found to be cracked or the inner diameter has exceeded the maximum repairable size, it should be replaced.

2. When there are serious grooves and strains on the inner surface of the brake drum, they should be replaced or boring (the cylindricity deviation of the brake drum after boring should be no more than 0.075mm, and the coaxial deviation of the wheel axis of the vehicle Not more than 0.025mm, the difference between the left and right wheel brake drums is less than 1mm, and the inner diameter must not exceed the maximum allowable repair size).

3. The brake system needs to be kept dry: When the brake is wet, it is best to perform blow dry treatment at the maintenance office to restore the braking function of the brake system and blow away the sediment brought by the rainwater to reduce the damage to braking system. If this is not possible, the driver can brake at a safe speed and let the brake shoe and brake drum or brake disc friction generate heat, evaporate the moisture, and the drivers can brake several times to make it dry.
